What is a Canberra property price check?
It is a personal review of a property listing by Thad Austin-Niven, a licensed Canberra buyers agent. You receive an indicative price range based on recent comparable sales, two or three benchmark sales, and notes on the listing, price guide and anything worth checking before making an offer.
Is this a formal property valuation?
No. This is an indicative range to help your buying decision, not a formal valuation or a guarantee of the final sale price. It does not replace your own inspections, legal advice or a formal valuation where one is required.
How much does the check cost and which areas does it cover?
One check per person is free, with no obligation. The service is for buyers considering a property in Canberra or the surrounding region.
How do I request a check and when will I hear back?
Submit your first name, email and a property listing link using the form on this page. Links from Allhomes, Zango, Domain, realestate.com.au and other property listing websites are welcome. You can add your mobile number and any questions you want Thad to look at. Thad will review your submission and email you within two business days. If the auction or offer deadline is sooner, call 0405 241 220.
